Once again, I had been to Dubai. But this time it wasn’t a solo trip. It was a family trip. Yes, I went with my parents. It was fun though as I knew exactly what to show to my parents and whatnot.

So let’s see what Dubai has for like-minded travelers or Tourist like me.

  • Dubai Mall- Burj Khalifa

This is a place from where you should start your trip to Dubai. I am not referring to Shopping but Burj Khalifa. This time I booked Prime Time Tickets for 148Th Floor 5 PM, because I wanted to see the sunset from the top. Moreover, my mom wanted to see the world from the top with its changing colors as the sun sets. We stayed on top for 3 hrs. It was really worth to Spend AED 500. It’s a totally different experience when you see it from 124 and 148 Floors. When we came down it was fountain show next. It was quite a normal fountain show for me as I have already seen Fountain Show at KLCC Mall in Kuala Lumpur which was far more better than this one.

  • Dubai Mall- Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Again, this is situated in Dubai Mall. This also failed to impressed us as Siam Ocean World, Bangkok is far better than this. But if someone wasn’t in Bangkok, then this is definitely a must visit. It’s big and it will take 2 hrs. Buying a ticket on the spot is a better option as you can closely look at what are the different options available to grab.

  • Desert Safari

Camp at Desert Safari

This is something not to be missed. At first my mom was a bit scared as her friends suggested that it’s risky and you have to cautious.  But then she came out with flying colors and she was really happy that she did it. So after safari we went to camp. We were lucky again to see the Sunset in the desert.

The following are the things already included when you pay for Desert Safari:

  • Safari
  • Camel Ride- just one round
  • Dates with Emirati Coffee
  • Starters
  • Soft drinks
  • Water
  • Tanura dance
  • Belly Dance
  • Buffet Dinner
  • Shisha

But there are two kinds of seating arrangements- One you will get SOFA and other one normal all around the stage. If you want to be on Sofa, need to pay some extra (depends on your bargain), we paid AED 50 per person.

The benefits are:

  • Amazing View
  • Everything will be served at your table and there are no restrictions
  • Get to Enjoy Food a bit earlier than others

  • Beaches and Marina

If you happen to be in Dubai and didn’t go to sunny beaches then you will probably have to go again. Last time I went to the La Mar beach and was so mesmerized. So this time I planned to see the Sunset along with Burj Al Arab. So we went to the Jumeirah Public beach or Sunset Beach. It’s just beside the Burj Al Arab. Stay till it becomes dark. Because once it started to get dark, it becomes more beautiful.

From the beach, go to Marina Walk.  It’s just 20 mins drive. It’s a 7km round walk with more than one thousand restaurants. It’s full of Sky Scrapers and all are unique in their architecture.

  • Old Dubai

I bet you must be tired of seeing those Sky Scrapers. Believe me visit to Old Dubai will prove to be a therapy. And it will change the way you looked at Dubai till now. My Mom was so happy and dad was feeling like at home. Both of them were really happy and were talking about the days when they got married.

  • Emirates Mall and Miracle Garden

There is nothing much to do at this mall. But from here you get a bus directly to Miracle Garden. I have never seen or thought something like this. It was a treat to see as an adult. Go as soon as it opened. Because in the morning it will be sunny and less people. So good to see everything and taking photographs. Need at least 3 hrs. to see everything. Plenty of places to sit and eat.

  • Global Village

I have discovered a bunch of situations where they have built monuments in miniature form from all over the globe. But Dubai came two steps forward and makes this Village, which is predicted as a Global Village. It constitutes local food and local products along with the monuments from all over the globe. It opens at 4 pm and close at midnight. You have to walk around and need at least 3-4 hrs to see all. It’s a definite must visit.

  • Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE. Being a capital city it has its own charm. It’s a bit less touristy, but currently in the process of increase tourism. Now it’s no more a day affair to see Abu Dhabi. It has many things for tourists. Out of all the ones mine favorite are- Corniche Beach, Abu Dhabi Village, Grand Mosque, Etihad Towers, Adnoc Tower, Dates Market and Emirates Palace Hotel. They don’t allow visitors on the weekend so better to go on a weekday. It seems to be more restricted than Dubai. More costly than Dubai and more cleaner than Dubai.
