Mumbai( Also known as Bombay), is the capital city of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is the 2nd most populated metropolitan in India and 5th most populated city in the world, with an estimated population of 20 millions. Everyday thousands of people come to Mumbai to fulfill their dreams or to earn their living. Only if you are clear about your thoughts that what you want to do then Mumbai will welcome you with open arms. Life is really fast, nobody wait for others and if you want to be successful you have to make your own way. Nobody cares about what you are doing. Life never stops as we have seen in past that whether its a Bomb blast or a Terrorist attack none can bring life to a halt in Mumbai.

Mumbai is the Financial, Commercial and Entertainment capital of India. It is the center of globally recognized Hindi film and Television Industry. Presence of Bollywood within the city makes it the most electrifying and cosmopolitan city of India. Also it is home to the many influential personalities  like Mukesh Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan etc. The city also houses the major financial institutions like BSE, RBI, NSE, SEBI and also the Head Quarters of the numerous Indian companies and Multi National Corporations. Mumbai’s business opportunities as well its high potential to offer a higher SOl attracts migrants from all over India , making the city a center for many communities and culture.

We have heard many times : “Mumbai never sleeps”. It is true. Even at dead hours at night you will find people in streets. One of the major hubs is Marine drive famed as “ The Queens Necklace”. Just to see the city that never sleeps I myself was sitting at Marine Drive the entire night and was amazed to see people sitting, chatting, eating, sleeping etc. Vendors earn their living by selling water bottles, eatables etc on bicycle’s. One more reason I could comprehend why people sit the night out at Marine Drive is because the  lifeline of Mumbai- “The Local Train” is taking a nap. The local train services are not available from 1.15 am to 4.15 am and these are those 3 hours during which one can say the City that never sleeps, does sleep.
