Specimen of Schengen Visa

The Schengen Visa is the representative of the collective of 26 European Countries. It implies you can travel to 26 countries around Europe with one Visa.

The following are the Schengen Member States:

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Yes, it’s true you need only one Visa to see these countries. But it’s not that easy for Indians to apply for a Schengen Visa from India. The Consulates have been very strict in granting the Visa.

1) Anybody knows the reason for this??

Because of people of our own country. We people always want to entrust our land and settle outside. Whatsoever may be the reason behind this, we are very much intrigued by others life. Even if we will go on a tourist visa, we will start working illegally and throw all our documents so that we can get a citizenship in that country.

2) From which Embassy you should apply for Schengen Visa??

It establishes no difference whether you apply from France or Germany or any other member nations. Everywhere more or less documentation is same. I have applied from France Consulate in Bangalore.

3) Is there any check points or what is the most important matter that these Consulates look for?

Yes, they look for only one thing: Whether you will return back to India or not. This is the major check they do. And after satisfying themselves, they will grant Visa.

They will likewise mark the closing balance of your bank statement, whether you have enough balance to handle the expenses of your misstep.

If your documentation is strong, then they cannot deny the Visa.

4) Is it making any difference if you are working or doing business

YES, it does
