Bangalore sleep early. It’s not because it doesn’t have the night life. It’s because the city is very much under controlled. But on Friday and Saturdays it’s open till 1.30am otherwise everything closed at 11pm. As per the latest survey Bangalore has the greatest number of pubs in South East Asia. Hence it can likewise be addressed as a Pub City of India. If you are coming to Bangalore and want to explore the nightlife, it’s very hard to determine where to live and where not. This is because we possess so many choices. Some designated areas- Indiranagar, MG Road, Kormangala etc. These three area forms the bulk. Then let’s get a expression at the best option:
1) Toit
This is the best place to visit in Bangalore. It’s a definite must visit. No dance floor is there, nevertheless it will crowded every day from 7pm. And on weekends if you are late then you cannot stand as well. Awesome crowd, delicious food and Beers. I chose one of my America born Indian friend to this place and he was truly impressed that India too has such kind of situations. He narrated me the setup is exactly same as that in the USA. Even the bar counter, music, etc. all are like. It’s in the middle of the city: Indiranagar.
2) Vapour
If you walk straight from that towards 100 Ft road, then after 400 meters you will see vapor on your right side. It delivers a dance floor and this place will blow your head. It also has a roof top bar, but if you want to dance then to go to 3rd floor. It too owns a brewery. The crowd is again the USP of this place.
3) ABC: Arbour Brewing Company
It claimed to be First American Brewery in Bangalore. It’s near to Garuda Mall, MG Road. It is really big enough to accommodate 200 to 300 people at once. The atmosphere is awesome. You will get to see many Americans out here. It is also crowded on weekends. If you are going don’t forget to pre-book the table.
4) Monkey Bar
This place itself shout for himself. Yes, it doesn’t have a dance floor but yet this place dance after 10.30pm. The best position to be in if you love to dance and party. It does not have a brewery but still you can enjoy and sip either Heineken or Corona. It’s the best place to discover the real crowd of Bangalore and food is luscious. It’s situated in opposite of 12th Main between 100ft and 80ft road, Indiranagar.
5) Sky Bar
This is the best place in Bangalore. By the name only it signifies. But here no stags are allowed. So if you have a partner, then only you are allowed. The entry fee fully covers and it can be redeemed for food and beverages. It is located in the UB CITY mall, MG Road.
6) Blimey
It is also a roof top bar with amazing ambience. It also does not have a brewery, but delicious food. You have to pre book the table. Here also, sometimes they didn’t allow stags. The music is amazing and the best part is the view from the bar. This is located on terrace of 1 MG Road Mall, close to the Gurudwara, Trinity Circle.
7) The Biere Club
It is located on Vittal Mallya Road (close to UB City). It’s an amazing place to be. The atmosphere is completely unlike. It too owns a brewery and set up is similar to that of Bars in USA. You will see mostly working people coming here. The crowd will be totally different what you will get to see in the places mentioned above.
