Trip To Bannerghatta National Park on 7th OCTOBER,2012

Bannerghatta National  Park , an amazing experience.

To experience wildlife, Bannerghatta is a one stop place . It is  nearly about 22 km to the south of bengaluru. It is one among the few places in the world where wilderness is preserved so close to the big city. It is having different units such as a zoo, safari, Butterfly Park and Rescue Center.
We went on the Sunday morning. We left home around 8 am and reached Majestic around 8.47 am.
Buses are available directly to Bannerghatta National park from here. From Platform -4  Bus no 365 Fare is Rs.60 per Head.Bus started at 9 am and reached  the forest at 10.15 am. On Sunday  huge crowd is present , so please reach as early as possible.Safari Cost:
Rs 210/head ( for max 30 passengers)
Rs 500/head ( for max 15 passengers a/c bus)
For Jeep one can book it for Rs 2500.

Zoo entry fees is included in the National Park ticket.(Do not throw the National park ticket)

Butterfly Park
Rs 25/head

It is generally 1.5 hrs tour in a forest. It is not an actual forest but a biological one . Roads are all cemented ones.
It has been divided into 3 parts:
1st is for Bear’s
2nd is for Lion’s and the
3rd one  is for Tigers.
